Antioch is not just an idea, it’s a life‐changing experience.

Oliver Program – Monday/Wednesday Evenings

kids-paper-airplanesOn Monday/Wednesday evenings we host programming for kids in grades 1-12. The night includes dinner and station time, where kids can  explore art, games, learn life skills, receive homework help and more. Bible study is also a key component of the evening – the message  of Jesus and access to Christ‐centered community draws youth in. Restorative Circles will also be a key component of the night.  In these circles, youth will dig deep to find support, healing, and understanding behind some of the root causes and context of any mis-behavior they may be involved in.

Fremont Program – Monday/Thursday Evenings

Fremont Thursdays has multiplied!   The Fremont house has expanded to two days per week.  On Monday evenings we will host programming for boys in grades 1-12, while the girls of the same grade level will have their programming night on Thursday evenings!

The night includes dinner and station time, where kids can explore art, take advantage of our half‐court basketball space, play table games, learn life skills, receive homework help and more.

Mentorship040815_antioch_0088

One-to-one or small group mentor-ship occurs between an Antioch staff member or leader and a youth. These meetings usually occur after school or on weekend afternoons and allow the leader and youth to build a relationship that would not be possible in a large group setting. Youth tend to be more comfortable sharing issues when they have the individual attention of an Antioch leader. Mentor-ship often occurs at a fast-food restaurant, a sporting event, a park or any place the youth and leader agree upon. For many of our kids, this is one of the best parts of our program because they have a safe, caring adult all to themselves.
